Upon entering special locations website to make reservations you hereby expressly and irrevocably agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth as follows;
Bookings You can submit a request form for a specific property or send us an email on info@speciallocations.co.uk Alternatively, you can contact us on 0845 520 12 40 In order for a booking to be secure a 30% (non refundable) deposit is required. The funds must be cleared into our account and in turn our official booking confirmation and contract will be issued. The following payment options are available:
Balance The balance of your holiday cost is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival and specified on your confirmation. If you book within 4 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking unless other customized arrangements are made. In some resorts (full list available on request) Special locations will not charge your card at any point. The apartments-hotels, serviced apartments or hotels may charge your card depending on their booking terms and conditions. All the booking terms and conditions of such respective apartments-hotels, serviced apartments or hotels are available on the special locations website and/or on websites of such apartments-hotels, serviced apartments or hotels. Payment Moving a booking forward to another date will be subject to a £50 cancellation fee and is subject to availability. Cancellations All Cancellations must be made by registered post and signed by the Customer. Cancellations will become effective from the delivery date of the cancellation letter. All cancellations are subject to a charge payable by the Customer as detailed below. Changes to your bookings after your arrival are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full tariff of all days cancelled Cancellation received:
Changes/cancellations made by us If circumstances beyond our control should make the rental properties unavailable, the customer will be advised accordingly as soon as possible. Alternative accommodation of at least comparable standard will be offered if available, or a refund of monies paid unless the change/cancellation arises from reasons of 'Force Majeure'. Extra cost (some resorts only) Extra cost: final cleaning payable locally: FINAL CLEANING COST 4 bedroom villa £ 85 3 bedroom villa £ 80 2 bedroom villa £ 75 2 bedroom apartment £ 45 The Air-conditioning is an optional extra and is payable locally. This units must be only be used while you are in the property, with all windows and doors kept closed. Under no circumstances must the units be left on continuously while the property is unoccupied. Please see below the extra costs details. AIRCOND COST 4 bedroom villa £ 25 per week 3 bedroom villa £ 20 per week 2 bedroom villa & apart £ 15 per week Damage Deposit A refundable damage deposit of £200 will be taken at the beginning of the tenancy and given back to you the day of the check out after the final check. Claims and Complaints If there are any problems with the rental property during the rental period, the customer must inform our representatives immediately. If the matter is not resolved, the customer must follow up the complaint procedure in writing to us within 14 days of the end of the rental period at the head office API - SPECIAL LOCATIONS, Yalikavak Marina, 3 Kapi Karsisi, No 47/B, 48430 Yalikavak - Bodrum - Turkey If the problem has not been reported as detailed in this clause we cannot accept responsibility for any claims or complaints. Travel Insurance It is highly recommended for the Customer to hold or take out a suitable Holiday and Travel insurance. It is advisable for this insurance to be in place at the time the rental period booking is made. Liabilities & Waivers API does not accept any responsibility or liability for acts of omission of third parties which may prevent or disrupt a customer's booking. The booking contract exists between us and the customer and is limited to the rental of the property for a short period of time and associated Services only. The information and descriptions supplied here are believed to be accurate and offered in good faith. Certain features or facilities may not be available from time to time due to circumstances beyond our control for which we accept no liability. In addition no liability can be accepted by us for any injury, loss or damage to the Customer, any member of the Customers Party or any visitor to the rental property, arising out of or in connection with the use of the rental property or the pool. The Customer must ensure that all Children are supervised at all times whilst in or around the pool. You hereby waive all rights of recourse against Special Locations Ltd. / API Ltd. and/or any of their subsidiaries as to any incidental or consequential damage or loss of whatsoever nature occurred during the performance of any service rendered by Special Locations or during your respective rental period either arising from or anyhow related to the use of the property and rental period which you may suffer and commit to hold harmless Special Locations Ltd. / API Ltd. against any claims, actions, law suits or proceedings carried out by any third party or its successor for any damage, loss, bodily injury or death claimed to occur by reason of or connected with Special Locations Ltd. / API Ltd. and/or any of their subsidiaries Force Majeure No liability can be accepted by us where the contract is affected by 'force majeure'. In the perspective of these terms and conditions, 'force majeure' is any event that we could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. These events include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riot, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, acts of God, terrorist activity, nuclear disaster, adverse weather, government action, technical problems with transportation or other events outside our control. Tenant Responsibility The accommodation must be left in a tidy and clean condition; otherwise supplementary charges will be incurred. You are liable for the property during your stay. You undertake to report and pay for any damage caused to the property and for any equipment damaged during your stay. We reserve the right to ask you, or any member of your party, to leave immediately. All guests are responsible for their behaviour on the premises and are requested not to engage in disorderly conduct. For the purpose of this condition, "disorderly conduct" means any inappropriate conduct including but not limited to the following: Prostitution or prostitution related activity committed within the premises; Gambling or gambling-related activity committed within the premises; Keeping or permitting a uncontrollable house within the premises; Guests or other person under the guest's control shall not engage in illegal activity, including drug-related activities, on or near the said premises. "Drug related activities" means the illegal manufacture, sale, distribution, purchase, use or possession with the intent to produce, sell, distribute, or use a controlled substance as defined by law. Guests or other person under the guest's control shall not engage in acts of violence. You hereby irrevocably agree and acknowledge that this booking terms and conditions shall constitute an inseparable and integral part of your short term holiday rental agreement with Special Locations Ltd. / API Ltd. and/or any of their subsidiaries in case of a signing of such agreement. Check-In & Check-Out Access to villas and apartments will be after 2 pm. While we always attempt to be flexible and provide early check-in where it is possible to do so, we can only guarantee check-in availability from 2pm. Check-out time is 10am. If you require a later check-out, please enquire prior to your stay. While we attempt to be flexible, this will depend solely on availability at the time. Website and brochure Accuracy The information and prices shown on this website and in our PDF brochure may have changed by the time you come to book your arrangements. Although we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information and prices at the time of publishing, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your chosen arrangements with us at the time of booking. All information in this website and our brochure has been compiled from up to date details and we have taken care to ensure that it is accurate. There may however be occasions when an advertised facility is either modified or not available. Such situations may be dictated by local circumstances, necessity for maintenance, water shortages, unsuitable weather conditions, fuel shortages, power cuts and other circumstances beyond our control. If we are advised of this, then we will of course inform you as soon as possible, but we cannot be held liable in such circumstances. It is also important to remember that some facilities, such as shops, restaurants, communal pools, water sports and water parks etc may not operate at all times. Furniture may sometimes vary from brochure or website photographs. Please visit our website for latest photography and most up to date property information. If a particular facility offered in our villa is essential to the booking of your holiday, please ensure that we are made aware of this at the time of booking. Please note that at all times, the information on our website supersedes that in our brochure. Car Hire Car hire is provided by us as agent for the relevant car hire company conditions of trading are available on request. We accept no liability in this respect. Where we act as principal, the relevant conditions will be deemed to be incorporated in the contract between us and we, as well as the car hire company, will be entitled to rely on them.
Excursions and Resort services We may provide you with information (on our website and our brochure and/or when you are away) about activities and excursions which are available to purchase through independent suppliers in the area you are visiting. Where we have not agreed to arrange, provide or perform these activities or excursions as part of our agreement with you, subject to these booking conditions, we do not accept any responsibility for them even where we suggest or recommend a particular operator or supplier and/or assist you in any way in booking such activities or excursions. Some resort facilities, such as shops, restaurants, communal pools, water sports and water parks etc may not operate at all times and you should ask if such a facility is important to you. We accept no liability should any facility be closed. Please see liabilities and waivers above.
Building Works From time to time, building work and its associated noise is unavoidable. We do not control such work, and we do not receive advance notice of when it will begin. Where we are aware of such building work, we will notify you as soon as possible if we think that said works will affect your holiday.
Passports, visas and health requirements Holders of current UK and EU member states passports do not require visas to enter EU member states, nor are vaccinations required at the time of this publication. For all non EU passport holders you must check passport and visa requirements with the Embassy or Consulate of the country(ies) to or through which you are intending to travel. Requirements may change and you must check the up to date position in good time before departure. For European holidays you should obtain a completed and issued form EHIC prior to departure. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. We regret we cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry correct documentation. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results to fines, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly. This includes not being able to travel due to a mislaid, damaged or lost passport.
Special requests If you wish to make a special request, you must do so at the time of booking. We will try to pass any reasonable requests on to the relevant supplier but we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation or that it has been passed on to the supplier is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. Please note we accept no liability for any item/arrangement not confirmed on our invoice.
Pets/Animals The villas are booked for normal holiday use only and pets/animals are not allowed.
Natural Environment / Unwelcome Guests As in all the Mediterranean resorts Special Locations API Ltd cannot be held responsible for any discomfort or inconvenience caused by the climate, the particular flora and fauna and wildlife including, but not limited to insects (flies and ants), barking dogs, goats, donkeys, rodents, chickens or sheep bells or anything else reasonably expected to exist in the natural environment in which many of the properties are situated. Isolated incidents of field mice and rats have also been sighted. For any serious cases we will do everything in our power to help you eradicate problems. We recommend particularly in the summer months when Mediterranean drought conditions cause an influx in ants etc. for you to buy mosquito/ant spray and keep any food and drink items in the fridges and to clean any food leftovers away immediately.
